They were attentive and excited about the content because you provided a nice variety of teaching strategies: providing information verbally, through video and pictures, showing costumes, and with movement and dance. When the children were talking to each other, it was because they were excited about the presentation or dance they were learning. You were able to gain their attention again quickly, so they were ready for the next part of the program. I especially appreciated that you were prepared to give all of the students the opportunity to go to the front and perform the dance. Everyone was involved…students and staff!
